Enameling Play-date Friday, May 21st 9-1
Enameling Play-date Friday, May 21st 9-1
This class is for the colorfully curious beginner who wants to learn how to enamel on steel. I will do three simple enamel demos and then set you free to experiment with colors, textures, and even patterned decals.
I have been playing with Kiln fired enamels extensively for two + years and have taken workshops with Master Metalsmiths Nilda Getty, Sharon Massey and Bette Barnett.
This class is cheaper than my other workshops because I don’t feel like I am an expert yet. I am just having fun sharing the experience of fusing glass to steel and the more we experiment together, the better I get at trouble shooting.
Please join me for experiments in enameling in my shop where I provide all the colored glass, steel shapes, decals, the kiln, and my growing knowledge of this incredible realm of color on metal. You can take this class as many times as you want so sign up for multiple sessions now to reserve your spots.
It’s possible to make two earrings in one session, but don’t be disappointed if they aren’t perfect on the first try. Enameling is easy, but takes a bit of trial and error to perfect.
